  • Hiblow HP-60A septic air pumps run continuously to provide aeration to your aerobic septic system. Depending on what part of the country you live in, it’s a good idea to rebuild your pump every 4-6 years before you run into trouble. The process is quite straightforward and will ensure your pump continues to run reliably. If you haven’t got around to this maintenance job, you’ll know your pump needs to be rebuilt if the alarm on your septic control unit is buzzing or flashing and your aerator is no longer working.

Before replacing the whole pump, consider rebuilding. A torn diaphragm is easy enough to replace and while you’re at it, you can swap out the air filter. The Hiblow HP-60A Complete Kit includes everything you need to rebuild your aerator pump. The kit comes with mounting hardware for two diaphragms and as well as 2 new diaphragm heads with factory-installed air check valves.

The kit also includes: Replacement air filter Replacement base gasket Replacement filter cover gasket 2 replacement locking nuts and washers Black safety screw What tools will you need on hand? The rebuild process is simple and requires only a few basic tools including: A Phillips screwdriver 5/16 or 8 mm socket wrench 7 mm socket wrench for the diaphragm nut/washer Not sure if your pump needs to be replaced? Check for red dust building up inside the aerator. This is a sign that the coils are rusting and you will need to purchase a replacement septic air pump.
