How Delta Whitewater Septic Pumps Work

Delta Whitewater septic air pumps set the bar high for all septic air pumps on the market. These air pumps are arguably the most efficient available for aerobic treatment with septic units. Almost all aerobic septic systems require a separate septic tank air pump. The septic tank pump(aerator) will pump the air into your septic tank.

When the oxygen is introduced to the septic unit new bacteria can grow. This new bacteria is considered to be “good” bacteria. These good bacteria form because they thrive off the presence of oxygen. They are “good” because they will begin to break down the wastewater in your unit.

The oxygen-loving bacteria will turn once harmful wastewater into a harmless effluent. This effluent can then be released onto a drain (leach) field. Once released the water is no longer dangerous to come in contact with.

Without a properly functioning septic air pump, dangerous waste products can be released. The septic system will not work properly without the aerator. An improperly working septic unit can lead to you being fined -- or worse, causing irreversible harm to your property, and your local environment.
