Rotary vane aerators are a great choice for pond about 12ft deep. The robustness of these aerators allows them to handle much greater pressure and move more air than other types of aerators. They also last a long time. Rotary vane air compressors last about 7 years before their vanes must be replaced. Their oil-free operation makes maintenance simple.
