Hiblow HP-40-017A Septic Air Pump

The Hiblow HP-40-017A is the smallest model made by Hiblow USA that is approved for aerobic septic systems. The small size and low power consumption produce very little heat, allowing the HP40-017A septic air pumps to have long service periods; up to 8 years. The Hiblow HP-40-017A will work for some 500 gpd aerobic septic systems.

The Hiblow HP-40A is very similar to the Hiblow HP-40. The major difference between the two models is that the HP-40A has an alarm built into the body of the compressor and the HP-40 has a tap for an external alarm sensor. The HP-40A can be used in some 500 GPD aerobic septic system. Koi ponds and ponds that are up to 16,000 gallons with a maximum depth between 6 and 8 feet can be aerated with this product.

Rebuild kits are available for the maintenance of this product. This product can be expected to require a rebuild after three or four years of operation, and it can be rebuilt two to three times. However, red dust building up inside the compressor may signal that a rebuild may not be sufficient.
